Rehearse-Record

Rehearse clarinet ensemble repertoire directed by Margaret Archibald and discuss recording in progress with Rob Archibald – a unique learning experience with a CD as the outcome.  Each day includes some five hours of session time, interspersed with coffee, lunch, tea and a chance to relax at the end of the day over a final drink.

Players should be Grades V–VIII plus, apart from the special session on 11th January.
Places must be reserved in advance; please contact Margaret to book. 

SUNDAY 11 JANUARY 2010 10am – 1pm and 2.30 – 5.30pm
Special session for early grades...

...to allow players of Grades I – IV standard to enjoy making music with others in a relaxed workshop situation.

£40 for morning or afternoon only; £70 all day including lunch.

Sunday 7 February 2010 10.30am - 6pm
Intermediate

An all-day workshop for clarinet players of intermediate level to rehearse and record together.

Sunday 21 February 2010 10am – 1pm and 2.30pm – 5.30pm
~ exam special

Polish your exam pieces in a workshop situation and record them for immediate review. Please ask if you would like piano accompaniment as it may be possible to provide this, and you will be able to take your free CD home with you for last-minute study.
Fee: £40 for morning or afternoon only

Sunday 7 March 10.30am – 6pm
Advanced

This session is an opportunity for players of Grade VIII and Diploma standard to rehearse ensemble repertoire.

Sunday 25 April 10am – 1pm and 2.30pm – 5.30pm or all day
Focus on duets

…pre-arranged duos or individuals in search of a partner are equally welcome!
